In 2018 I found myself playing around a lot with clean, grid-based lock-ups and thought my alma mater Purdue's aesthetic would work really well with that look. I threw brand standards to the wind (which was a lot of fun) and it paid off to see Purdue Pete in a whole new approach. 2019 was Purdue's sesquicentennial so I blended that into the designs, for instance there are 15 stars circled around the gothic capital P (one for every decade) and 15 points to the sun icon scattered around lock-ups.
