Lettering 2015
My first year of lettering. The skillset came from working in the Art/Creative Department of Hobby Lobby corporate as a graphic designer. A handful of designers myself included were selected to be taught calligraphy and while I didn't take as quickly to calligraphy I connected with lettering immediately. Typography is a playground based on clear rules that you're encouraged to bend and reinterpret which really appealed to me. I had found a way to pay homage to words I found meaningful through art.
